Back from CHA, Superbowl festivities are now over and life is starting to get back to normal.
Going to CHA was an unexpected last minute decision and I'm so glad I did. After CHA I had the opportunity to go with Paula Cheney and Carolyn Peeler to meet up with Amy Hanna for a wire-wrapping lesson. Amy is delightful. Funny, charming and so very talented. Jenny Doh also joined us which made it even more of a memorable experience.

Amy was so patient with us and our inexperienced fumbling cold fingers as worked on the basic loops and twists of wire wrapping.
We laughed over stories of her travels, most particularly Paris. We oogled and caressed her exquisite jewelry creations and huddled against the wind. Which...by the way...she has several new jewelry creations up for sale on her Etsy site.
I had brought a few things like this vintage #9 brass tag to play with. Carolyn had an entire strand of rhinestone roundels or mirror balls to play with.
It was so sweet of Amy to spend her morning teaching us when I'm sure she had a dozen other things she needed to be doing and thank you Jenny for taking these beautiful photos. I must find out where they shop...they both were dressed so very chic, but that's no big surprise. In every photo I've ever seen of the two of them they've been well-heeled. Note to self: next time stop of at Anthropologie and pick up a scarf on the way.
