Scrapbooks Etc. is hosting a "Craft it Forward" event.
It is designed to encourage crafters to use their talents and supplies to benefit their communities.
What a wonderful idea!
The inspiration was two cards designed by Lisa Storms to say "Thank You" to our service men and women.
I decided to carry through the stars and rounded corners from these cards but change the project and colors. My project is a little stationary set that they can use to write their friends and families back home.
It's super easy to make a bunch of these. Just chose a few of your favorite stamps, cut some paper and voila' - in no time you have a chic little set that will make the recipient want to write letters til their hands cramp up!
Check out what other crafters created who took this challenge.
The products I used were:
paper: Basic Grey Basic's line
envelopes: Office Max
ink: Ranger Black Archival & Memories Cherry Red
stamps: 7 Gypsies Disclaimer, Lille, Numero,
Tim Holtz: Steampunk
Sassafrass lass arrow stamps
