At the beginning of June, Layle and I headed to Spokane for the annual Farm Chicks show. We happened to meet up with another true junker, Paula Cheney, who was there with her friend Nancy. We also ran into other friends from across the country including Becky Novacek, Kelly Lautenbach, well as some scrapbook store owners from around the country and Canada.
It was a junkers paradise. We spent on day shopping at several local stores of which the Spokane area is rich in. There are several listed on Paula's blog but my favorite was Tossed and Found.
There is a lot of hype for the Farm Chicks show and it lived up to all the hype for me. We bought the early admission tickets and we were glad we did. I have been slowly going through my photos and editing them but due to a malfunctioning video card, I no longer have access to my monitor so below are all the photos I was able to edit before this went out. As soon as I get it fixed, I'll post more.
I did make some good scores though. Among my favorites are a ships compass, a round speed limit sign from France and some Russian phrase cards.
